Turnit will be on display at the international conference and exhibition IT-TRANS, on 6-8 March in Karlsruhe, Germany.
The event focuses on technological innovation for the public transport, attracting industry professionals from all over the world.
More than 200 exhibitors will have a chance to promote their products, get acquainted with the latest trends in the industry, find new business opportunities and attend different sessions at the conference. This year, 5000 visitors are expected at the exhibitions grounds.
Turnit will be participating for the second time and will be showcasing an improved version of its Ride platform.
Targeted for operators who require complex logistics management, dynamic pricing, and flexible responsiveness to the market situation, Turnit Ride is a reservation and distribution system that processes around 10 million seat reservations annually. Its services are used by over 40 long-distance coach operators across the world, including industry leaders like Transdev and Nettbuss.
"The news for this event is that we are showing for the first time publicly our new generic booking engine component, which enables transport companies to be integrated into Turnit Ride ecosystem more easily," announces Turnit CEO Andres Birnbaum. With an improved on-board terminal application and the new passenger booking engine, Turnit Ride is set to attract a broader audience of transportation companies. " It is a turnkey service with many configurable features for personalized business needs but with minimum set-up time and cost," adds Birnbaum.
Turnit will also present its urban public transportation application, Turnit BiBo.
Turnit BiBo enables hands-free ticketing and crucial data collection. It uses BLE beacons and micro-locating technology to detect automatically passengers entering/exiting the transport vehicle.
