Turnit receives 3 significant ISO Certificates

We are proud to announce that as of June 2021 Turnit has been awarded with three major ISO certificates:

  • ISO 9002:2015 Quality Management System (QMS)
  • ISO 20000-1 Service Management System (SMS)
  • ISO/IEC 27001 Information Security Management System (ISMS)
With these certificate’s we meet international requirements for security management system, service management system and quality management system.

What does the ISO stand for? 

ISO is an independent, non-governmental international organization with a membership of 165 national standards bodies.

Through its members, it brings together experts to share knowledge and develop voluntary, consensus-based, market relevant International Standards that support innovation and provide solutions to global challenges. (https://www.iso.org/about-us.html)

ISO certification certifies that a management system, service, or documentation procedure has all the requirements for standardization and quality assurance. ISO certifications exist in many areas of industry, from energy management and social responsibility to medical devices and IT services. ISO standards are in place to ensure consistency. Each certification has separate standards and criteria and is classified numerically. As of 2021 Turnit withholds 3 ISO certificates: 

ISO 27001

ISO/IEC 27001:2017 specifies the requirements for establishing, implementing, maintaining and continually improving an information security management system within the context of the organization. It also includes requirements for the assessment and treatment of information security risks tailored to the needs of the organization. ISO 20000-1

ISO 20000-1 specifies requirements for an organization to establish, implement, maintain and continually improve a service management system (SMS). The requirements specified in ISO 20000-1 include the planning, design, transition, delivery and improvement of services to meet the service requirements and deliver value. ISO 9001:2015 

ISO 9001:2015 specifies requirements for a quality management system when an organization:

  • needs to demonstrate its ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, and
  • aims to enhance customer satisfaction through the effective application of the system, including processes for improvement of the system and the assurance of conformity to customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
